As you may or may not know my day job is working for Bluebear (aka Juliet Bernard). Juliet was offered some stalls at The Old Spitalfield market to raise money for red nose day, the plan was to make some of the gorgeous knitted red nose corsages to raise money for the appeal. Rowan generously donated some yarn and lots of lovely Red Noses were produced, with a little help from some of Juliets knitting buddies. At 8am on a wet and windy Friday 15th March we met at the train station and made our way to the 'old smoke', Londinium! I haven't been to Kings Cross since it has been 'done up' but it looks pretty spectacular, being a bit of a bumpkin I am always quite taken aback by the hussle and bussle of commuter life too! We got to the market about 9.30, discovering that we had 4 stalls lots of space. So here are some pics, one of Juliet regaled in her red nose finery.

We had plenty of generous donations and people seemed to really like the idea of knitted corsages, we had a visit from some lovely kids who got stuck in, making little customised nose's and some adult learners who had fun learning how to make pompoms. It was a great morning I really enjoyed myself, I don't know how much was raised as yet but all funds count and make a difference.
On a final note I came over all 'Sartorialist' I spotted this guy in a gorgeous coat it really stood out, (photo doesn't do it justice), he looked so smart. So guy out there sorry I took you picture but it had to be done your just too cool!
Until next time.....Nickyxx
