Frost and Fireworks

Saturday 7th November saw us awake to the first frost.  I was up at 6am walking the dog at the local field it was kind of magical.

Today was the Sele Schools Firework Frenzy something all of us on Friends of Sele School work hard towards all year round.  I arrived at the school to be met by loads of people already working on the massive bonfire, and building the firework firing area, marquees going up and I was allocated safety equipment which I duly sorted.  We stopped at lunch time for a feast of fish and chips and continued on.   The event started at 5.30pm and was attended by lots of familys and youngsters.

The fireworks was amazing and we raised an incredible amount towards the school.  All that hard work was definately worth it.
